Men's High-Pocket Softshell 6-Zone Graphene Heated Jacket

I'd never thought about getting a heated jacket but I know my husband loves going out in the cold to shovel or plow snow and comes in freezing (winter is coming!). He is so pleased with this jacket! He's 6'3 and 180 lbs, and the XL fits very well in sleeve length and body length. He said it heats up quick and he really likes that he can just push a button in the upper chest area to warm it up. The button lights up different colors so you can determine which setting you're on w/o removing the coat or using glasses to see a digital readout. Perfect idea for someone who cannot see as well as when younger. The fabric is nice, waterproof. The battery pack has its own pocket on the inside of the coat. The jacket has lots of storage--a pocket inside that stores a large phone, two zippered pockets on the outside with a zippered pocket on each sleeve. It has some adjustable elastic on the bottom so you can tighten it against your lower torso. The coat came with a storage bag--great idea. He's very happy with this jacket and is looking forward to the day when he can tuck his hands inside the jacket and they actually get warm! He does have hand warmers too. I'm happy that he's going to stay warm this winter!

I've been looking for a heated jacket like this because, you know, winter is coming. The jacket heats up pretty quickly, a few minutes (I like to pre-heat mine). The fabric is waterproof, and the jacket is warm even without the "juice" being turned on. I love that it has three temperature settings, and the battery pack fits nice and neatly into its own pocket inside the jacket. The jacket itself came in a nice box and a mesh cloth storage bag. The battery pack can also be used for charging phones or other USB-type charging gadgets. The only thing I wish it had was an adapter to use any type of battery pack. You have to use one that has the barrel plug, which, to my knowledge, they don't. 

I haven't timed the battery pack to see if all the claims of battery life are true, but from my use case, they seem quite accurate. I used mine on high heat for about 30 minutes, and the battery read at 86%, so I'm sure I could get 3-4 hours on high heat and even more on lower settings.

I honestly couldn't be happier with this jacket and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in a product like this. This jacket is going to get a lot of use during these cold months. Not only does it keep me warm, but the versatility with all the zippered pockets makes it perfect for both outdoor activities and casual outings. I'm excited to see how it performs in even colder temperatures. I have no doubt it will keep me nice and warm.

This coat works great and it heats in seconds. It has 3 temp settings for the warmth ranging from a lighter heat/medium/hot heat! It comes with a battery pack you place in the pocket, and heats up all around. You will not be disappointed with this jacket!

The design of this jacket goes pretty well with most of my other clothing. It has a simple traditional look. Looks like a working man's jacket on cold hard winter days. It is a bit bulky, so will be only using this on the coldest days. Medium was good size for me. I am 5'10" tall and 160lbs. No loose threads and the tailoring and stitching on the material is even. It charges fairly quickly and puts off a warm even heat throughout the jacket. This will be perfect for camping or fishing trips in harsh conditions.

This winter heated jacket is very nice and true to fit. The jacket itself is good quality with tight stitching and quality material. The jacket is very comfortable to wear and protective around the trunk and neck. It's not a waste coat and wears around the waste which is perfect to moving around nor getting in and out of a vehicle. The battery powered heating elements are good, providing na nice boost of heat in specific areas. There is a simple on/off button and 3 modes to go through.

Great jacket, kept me nice and tasty at the ice rink. I got this 1st because we are always at the ice rink and sitting in the stands it get cold. Just the jacket alone is very warm and when you turn it on it toasty and very warm. The 1st thing I noticed is the cut and fit, tapered where it needed to be and styling was nice. Once I put it on I could tell it was made of quantity. My wife has a different heated jacket as well and we got a heated vest and on le this thus jacket has that my wife's doesn't is the power button that lights up is inside the jacket and is not visible by others and that is a plus. The jacket has a nice pouch for the battery. And the battery itself has a meter that let's you know how much power is left and neither of our or devices have that feature.

The only con I can see is the zipper is a women's zipper and by that I mean the zipper zips with the wrong hand. It should zip with the right hand and not the left. For me that's annoying and to others it may not be. Would highly recommend this jacket. I can't wait for winter.

This jacket is very nice. It is not super heavy weight, but enough to keep you warm, soft and comfortable on the inside. I did find the placement of the "hand" pockets a bit strange, they are much further forward and higher than I would have out them, but they work. In addition to front pockets, there are two inside pockets and two upper sleeve pockets (which I have found are great for glasses, keep my sunglasses in one, and reading glasses in other). Well made, good quality, and attractive color. It is kind of an olive green.

But when you add the battery pack is when the jacket shows you what it does well, heats up! There are many jackets on the market that do this, but several things I like. It is a high power jacket. Many use a USB A plug, which gives a "meh" performance. The specks say this is 12 volt, not sure about that, but it does produce heat. You should be aware it does not get hot, but gets a little warmer. You can tell when it is on, especially if you are doing something like sitting in a car, you will feel the warmth on your back, but it does not cook you. It is a nice gentle warmth.

A strange, but huge plus for this jacket is that the power button is on the inside. Most put these on the outside, left or right chest, and they light up when on. Like a billboard "I am wearing a heated jacket." I appreciate the light, can adjust between temps, but also appreciate not advertising to the world I am wearing a heated jacket.

Battery pack is large, which unfortunately also means it is heavy. This is common among these jackets, but because of this one's size, it is rather heavy and pretty obvious lump in your chest.

But this will be great this winter. I have found on cold mornings I love to turn on my jacket (on this model just plug in, and turns on), and let it warm up for about 5-10 minutes as I am getting my coffee and putting on my shoes. Certainly makes the first few minutes of my car ride much nicer. But I also leave it on as I arrive to work first and turn up the heat. So this keeps me warm for the first hour or so if work until the building gets warmed up. And then i again preheat for the ride home.

It would be a very nice jacket, as a normal jacket, but is especially nice with the heat. I am 6 feet, 190 pounds, large fit well. Because of the battery pack bulge, it is a bit tight around my chest. Works for me, but if I were a bit heavier, might go for the XL just to allow for that.

This is a great Jacket hands down affordable and quality. I never used the battery last winter it was cold and windy Jacket did great without it. I did use the battery once to charge my phone though.

This is a very nice, no nonsense jacket. I purchased it in black which gives me the flexibility to wear it whether I'm working, going out for the evening, or just to lazy around. When I wear the hood, my neck and ears feel very warm even though there is no heating element in that hood. When I take my gloves off to engage fine motor skills, I place them in the two side pockets. They stay warm in the pockets as long as I keep the heating elements active. I'm thinking about picking up a camo for my hunting endeavors. Needless to say, I will buy this jacket again!

This is great for cold weather. All parts work great too.

My husband works outdoors/lineman and this has been a huge save for him this winter in the freezing temps. Others have asked where he got it and he brags about how his wife looked out for him. A huge win!

This coat is nice enough, I bought a second one for daily use. Solid waterproof fabric, good quality, high capacity battery pack that charges on the C shape super fast charger my phone uses. The battery life will be determined by how cold it is, what setting you keep it on, and how long you're going to be in the cold. On high, in 10° or below, you can probably get 1.5-2hrs out of it. Higher temps and lower settings (you have High, Medium, Low) will multiply the battery life.The only thing I don't like about it is the placement of battery pack, being in a spot the presses against the side of your stomach, and the pockets are a little too high and forward.Otherwise, highly recommended.

The jacket is actually very warm without the heat turned on and it’s very comfortable. Pleasantly surprised. True to size and I got a size big on purpose so I could wear sweater or something thick under it…. The problem with that is, the jacket doesn’t give radiant heat. The jacket has to touch your body firmly for you to feel the heat. If the jacket is loose on the back and arms, you won’t feel it. So don’t buy it a size up, it needs to be snug. Would give 5 stars but the battery is pretty bulky and awkwardly placed in a chest pocket instead of a hidden side pocket out of the way. Decent battery life so far though.

I bought this for a Valentine's gift for my husband because he works outside all day..great gift it definitely keeps me secure knowing he's warm all day. Has all the sweet spots for heat and lasts him his whole day.

I’ve accepted that I’m getting older and not nearly as cold-tolerant as I once was… so it was time to go heated-jacket shopping.If all of Wulcea’s marketing claims about their graphene heated apparel are true, there’s a lot to like—safer, faster heating, and the possibility that it may still function even if a heating sheet is damaged. It all sounds great. That said, in my mind Wulcea initially felt like just another company selling a product that might not live up to the hype. Milwaukee, on the other hand, is a well-known brand that already makes heated gear. They offer their newer Hexon heating technology, use batteries I already own, have generally positive reviews, and appear to be very well made. At their price point, they should be.I knew I wanted something closer to a lightweight jacket—something I could wear over a base layer but under a heavier coat. The thinking was simple: closer contact to the body and added insulation on top should result in better heating. Unfortunately, there aren’t many jackets that truly fit that use case. Milwaukee offers a hoodie and a vest, but both have limited heating zones. That pushed me toward trying the Axis and Tough Shell jackets instead.Here’s where Milwaukee gets frustrating. Every jacket variant has a different heating-pad layout—some with multiple zones, others with only two. Both the Axis and Tough Shell are well-made jackets. They fit under my Carhartt work coat and would also work well as standalone jackets. However, they have a couple of notable shortcomings. First, the battery placement just isn’t comfortable. The bulky battery sits either at your lower back or below your ribcage in the front. More importantly, the heating performance itself is underwhelming. It works, but it’s lackluster.Back to the “no-name” Wulcea options. I first tried their fleece hoodie. While the heating was good and the battery placement—higher on the chest—was much better, the hoodie itself was too bulky and acted like a magnet for dirt, pet fur, and hair. That left one final option before resigning myself to a vest: the Wulcea soft shell jacket.Did it turn out to be perfect for my needs? Not quite—but it’s close enough that I’m sticking with it until something better comes along. It has multiple heating pads that create more of an enveloping warmth, rather than just a few isolated hot spots like the Milwaukee jackets. The pads around the biceps are especially noticeable and make the Wulcea feel more effective overall.The construction and seams on the Wulcea soft shell look good, but I suspect the Milwaukee jackets would ultimately hold up better over time, as their fabrics feel tougher. That’s an acceptable trade-off for me, since I plan to wear the Wulcea under another coat most of the time. It’s also less expensive and seems to heat up faster.I still wouldn’t say I found exactly everything I wanted, but maybe in another year or two the perfect option will exist—and it just might come from Wulcea.

(UPDATE)my replacement jacket came in the mail today and it didn't have stains on it or smell like an old houseThe new jacket fit perfect I bought a large so size is correct. The jacket is light weight and seems to be made out of a durable fabric(PREVIOUS REVIEW)Bought this because I got the vest earlier this year and it met my expectations....however the product I received was pre used dirty and smelled disgusting..... I will update when the replacement gets here on Saturday.....
