Is a battery pack included in my purchase?

Most Wulcea products come with a battery and charging cable. Starting from 2025, heated jackets and vests will also include a charging adapter in the package. (However, accessories such as heated scarves and hats do not come with an adapter.) We also offer the option to purchase spare batteries or charging adapters separately.

What size should I buy? What’s the difference between body size and clothing size?

Body size means the measurement of your body parts, while clothing size means the measurement of the apparel. We also usually provide a size chart with recommended ranges based on height and weight. We recommend using the “Size Guide” on the product page to find your best fit.

How do I connect the battery to the heated apparel? How do I turn it off and restart it?

To heat the apparel, connect the internal wire to the battery's DC/USB-C port. Disconnect the battery or long-press the switch button on apparel to turn it off and again within two hours to turn it back on. If off for more than two hours, the battery enters sleep mode and requires reconnection.

How long does the heating last?

Heating duration of Wulcea apparel depends on the heat setting, battery type, and the heating system of the heated gear. The jackets and vests typically last about 2–3 hours on high and 8–10 hours on low, while the scarves and hats last about 2–3 hours on high and 6–7 hours on low.

How warm is it on each heating setting?

The heating level can be adjusted by pressing the power button. Each press will cycle through the apparel’s temperature settings. High (Red): 131 ° F ;Medium (Blue): 113 ° F;Gentle (White): 95 ° F. *Tested at a room temperature of 25°C/77°F

Can the heated apparel work in temperatures below 32℉/0℃?

Yes, it performs well even in freezing conditions. However, if you plan to stay outdoors for extended periods in sub-zero weather, we suggest carrying an extra battery to ensure continuous warmth.

Is the heated apparel waterproof?

Most Wulcea jackets are water-resistant. Depending on the material, some styles offer stronger water protection suitable for outdoor activities, while others are designed for light rain or daily commutes in damp weather. Certain jackets, vests, and accessories are not waterproof. You can check the waterproof rating on the product page or contact us for confirmation.

Can I take the heated apparel on a plane?

Yes. The battery meets airline transportation standards but must be carried in your hand luggage and not checked in. For specific regulations, please check with your airline.

Can I wash the heated apparel?

Most Wulcea heated apparel is machine washable, while hand washing the heated hats and heated scarves is recommended. Please read the provided instructions [Product Care] before washing.

Is my apparel compatible with other batteries?

No. The Wulcea battery is specifically designed and made for Wulcea heated apparel. For safety and compatibility concerns, please only use the original Wulcea battery.

Is the apparel fire-retardant?

No, it isn’t fire-retardant and should be kept away from open flames. Graphene heating technology provides safer protection against overheating and spontaneous ignition compared to traditional wire heating, but it is not fire-resistant.

Can I use the battery to power the jacket while the battery is charging?

No, you cannot use the Wulcea heated jacket while the battery is charging. For safety reasons, disconnect the battery from the charging cable before plugging it into the jacket.

Can I use the battery to charge other devices while it’s connected to the apparel?

We don’t recommend doing so. When the battery is powering the heated apparel, it’s best to avoid charging other devices at the same time. This may cause unstable output or reduce heating performance. Please use the ports separately for the best and safest experience.

Is there any way to get a replacement hood for the heated jacket?

At this time, Wulcea does not sell replacement hoods separately for its heated jackets.

What is Wulcea’s warranty policy?

All Wulcea heated products purchased through wulcea.com or authorized retailers are covered by a 1-year limited warranty on both heating elements and batteries, starting from the date of purchase. Customers also have the option to purchase an extended warranty plan for additional coverage. Purchases made through Amazon, Walmart, eBay, or other authorized online retailers are eligible for the same 1-year limited warranty. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. If you experience an issue outside the standard warranty coverage period, please contact us directly. In certain situations, we may still be able to assist depending on the nature of the issue.

Does Wulcea offer repairs or replacement parts for hoods, buttons, or zippers?

Unfortunately, we do not offer individual replacement parts (such as hoods, buttons, or zippers), nor do we provide repair services. If there is any damage or quality issue, please contact us.

How do I charge the battery?

Insert the USB-C end of the charging cable into the side port of the battery, and connect the other end to the charging adapter. When you see the flashing “%” symbol on the display—or, for models without a display, the blinking battery indicator lights—it means the battery is charging.

How to turn the battery on, off, and restart in heated apparel?

Press and hold the battery switch to turn it on or off.
Restart instructions: If you press and hold the heating switch on apparel within 2 hours after turning off, the battery can be restarted. If more than 2 hours have passed, the battery enters sleep protection mode and must be disconnected and reconnected before it can be turned on again.

Can I take this battery on an airplane?

Is this battery safe to use?

Just like your cellphone, laptop, and most other devices, all Wulcea batteries use lithium-ion technology to provide a safe power experience. Our battery has passed CNAS testing and has a UL test report.

Where does the battery go in the heated apparel?

For most heated apparel, the battery pocket is on the inner lower left side. For heated scarves, the battery pocket is hidden on the side near the switch, and for heated hats, the battery pocket is on the left side of the hat.

Can I use the battery to charge my phone?

Yes you can. The outer port on the battery can be used to charge your phone and other electronic devices.

Which battery can I use with the apparel?

The Wulcea battery is specifically designed and made for Wulcea heated apparel. For safety and compatibility concerns, please only use the original Wulcea battery.

Is my Wulcea battery compatible with other brands?

Wulcea battery is specially designed for Wulcea heating garments. If you have clothes from another brand, please check with their seller and confirm if your clothes can use the other brand's battery.

Is my battery compatible with other Wulcea products?

Please refer to the table above to confirm which heated products are compatible with each battery model. If you are not sure, you can contact us for assistance.

What kind of charger should I use for my battery?

According to the table above, check whether your battery supports fast charging. You need at least a 5V, 2A adapter, but charging will be slower. For faster charging, you can use a 9V, 2A; 12V, 1.5A; or 5V, 3A adapter. For better compatibility, we recommend purchasing our fast charger.

How should I store my battery? Will the battery drain when not in use?

Just try not to leave it sitting for too long without charging, It's best to charge it every 1-3 months while also avoiding overcharging.And store it somewhere cool and dry to keep it in top shape. A little battery drain when it’s idle is totally normal.

How should I dispose of the battery?

To dispose of your Wulcea battery, bring it to a local e-waste recycling facility or a store that accepts rechargeable batteries. Do not throw it in regular trash to avoid harming the environment.

Can I Charge the battery from the car?

We do not recommend doing this. If necessary, please use our DC adapter between them.

Can I use the battery to power the jacket while the battery is charging?

Can I charge the battery overnight?

The battery does have built-in overcharge protection, so it won’t keep charging once it’s full — there’s no safety risk. That said, keeping it plugged in after it's fully charged can still affect the battery’s long-term health, so we don’t recommend leaving it charging for extended periods while it's full.

How can I cancel my last order?

Please contact us. Our customer service team will assist you. If the order has already shipped, we may not be able to cancel it.

Can I combine different discounts in my order?

Most discounts cannot be combined unless specified. To use multiple discounts, you may need to place separate orders.

I bought a heated jacket last week but now the price is lower! Do you offer a price match guarantee?

Yes, we offer a 7-day price match. If the price drops within 7 days of purchase, contact us to get a refund of the difference.

Your website won’t let me complete my purchase. I tried several credit cards and the transaction won’t go through. Can you help?

This may be due to fraud prevention. Try using PayPal or another payment method.

Does Wulcea have any physical stores?

No, Wulcea does not have physical stores now but may collaborate with local stores for offline sales.

Where is the product made? Is this a US-made product?
